Thanksgiving and Farewell Felicitation

On October 30, 2024, we gathered to honor our beloved teachers—Mr. A. Collin, Mrs. Muthumanna Silva, Mrs. Pubudu Sumanaweera, and Mrs. Mahesha Wansekara—who have dedicated themselves to serving our school with unwavering commitment and loyalty.

The day began with a Thanksgiving Mass celebrated by Rev. Fr. Milroy Fonseka, Procurator General and Manager of Catholic Private Schools, held in the Convent Chapel. In his reflection, Father highlighted the invaluable contributions these teachers made to our community.

Following the Mass, a heartfelt Felicitation Ceremony was hosted in St. Mary Euphrasia Hall. The program featured a dance invoking blessings for our teachers, along with speeches and songs that resonated with gratitude and admiration, enriching this special occasion. During the ceremony, our teachers shared their memories and experiences, creating a truly memorable farewell.

“A truly great teacher is hard to find, difficult to part with, and impossible to forget.”

This reflects the profound impact these educators have had on our students and teachers alike. Their legacy of service will always be cherished.
