The Promise Party of the Butterflies for the year 2025 was held on 30th September 2025 at Good Shepherd Convent, Kandy, marking a special milestone in the journey of our youngest Girl Guides.

This joyful occasion celebrated the moment when the Butterflies officially made their promise to uphold the values of the Girl Guide movement, committing themselves to kindness, helpfulness, and respect for others.

The event was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, District Commissioner Madam J.G. Chandrawathy, whose inspiring words encouraged the young Butterflies to continue growing with courage, discipline, and joy. Her presence added great value to the celebration, reminding everyone of the strong guiding spirit that supports each child’s development.

The ceremony included meaningful rituals, songs, and sharing moments that highlighted the spirit of unity and the promise to be responsible and caring members of the community.
