First Holy Communion 2025

"I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever." – John 6:51

The First Holy Communion is a sacred and memorable step in the faith journey of every Catholic child. On the 24th of May 2025, our Primary Section students experienced this blessed moment as they received Jesus in the Holy Eucharist for the very first time.

The holy eucharistic celebration took place in the school chapel and was led by Rev. Fr. Yovan Saverimuttu, Rector of St. Clement’s College – Kandy. In his homily, Father Yovan shared a thoughtful and encouraging message, reminding everyone of the true presence of Christ in the Eucharist and the call to live a life rooted in love and faith.

Parents, families, and teachers joined in this joyous occasion, offering their prayers and support. The solemn yet joyful atmosphere reflected the significance of the sacrament and the grace received by each communicant. It was truly a day to remember — filled with prayer, reflection, and the deep joy of welcoming Christ into young hearts.
