On 17th October 2025, Good Shepherd Convent, Kandy, celebrated its Annual Prize Giving Ceremony, recognising the outstanding achievements of students for the academic year 2024. The event highlighted the school’s commitment to nurturing excellence in academics, sports, arts, and co-curricular activities.

The ceremony was honoured by Professor Dimanthi Jayathillake, a proud Past Pupil and Professor in the Department of Agricultural Biology, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Peradeniya. Her inspiring address encouraged students to pursue their dreams with determination, showcasing the heights that alumni of Good Shepherd Convent can reach.

Following a welcome by Rev. Sr. Principal and the Annual School Report, certificates and awards were presented to students excelling in various fields, including those admitted to state universities. Student performances, including dances and musical pieces, added vibrancy to the celebration, reflecting the talent and spirit of the school community.
