On 28th October 2025, our school community came together to honour and celebrate the remarkable life and mission of St. Joseph Vaz, the Apostle of Sri Lanka.

We were privileged to welcome our Chief Guest, Rev. Father Lakmal Perera, Rector of St. Joseph’s Minor Seminary, Poornawatte, whose inspiring words enriched the occasion and set a reflective tone for the celebration.

The presentation, thoughtfully staged by the Sinhala Drama Society of Good Shepherd Convent, Kandy, brought together over 100 students from Grades 6 to 13. Through a harmonious blend of music, drama, and Sri Lankan tradition, the students vividly depicted the extraordinary journey of St. Joseph Vaz — from Goa to Jaffna and Kandy — highlighting his courage, steadfast faith, and unwavering dedication to service.

More than a performance, this was a sincere tribute to humility, sacrifice, and love, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended and inspiring us to carry forward the light of St. Joseph Vaz in our own lives.
