On January 10, 2025, the Past Pupils’ Association, under the guidance of Sr. Principal, organized an informative Awareness Programme on Basic Life Saving Skills and First Aid at the school. The session was designed for the Girl Guides, School Committee members, and students of Grades 12 and 13.

A distinguished panel of doctors and experts, including professionals from the National Hospitals of Kandy, Peradeniya, and other prominent medical institutions across the island, led the programme.

The primary goal of the event was to empower participants with essential first-aid knowledge and techniques that can be applied in emergency situations, ensuring they are better prepared to respond effectively when needed.
